We understand that travel plans can sometimes change unexpectedly. To balance flexibility for our guests with the logistical needs of our homes, we adhere to the following cancellation schedule.

Our Tiered Policy

All cancellation windows are calculated based on the check-in time (local time) of your arrival date.


30+ days before arrival - 100% Refund. No questions asked.

15 – 29 days before arrival - 50% Refund. A partial charge is retained to cover the reserved dates.

Less than 15 days before arrivalNo Refund. Cancellations within this window are non-refundable.


Important Considerations

  • Direct Booking Benefit: Because you booked directly through Your Travels Home, you are dealing with us personally. We do not charge the additional "Service Fees" typically found on third-party platforms, which are often non-refundable.
  • Processing Times: Refunds are initiated immediately upon cancellation but may take 5–10 business days to appear on your statement, depending on your financial institution.
  • Travel Insurance: We highly recommend that all guests purchase comprehensive travel insurance. This can protect your investment in the event of medical emergencies, flight cancellations, or other unforeseen disruptions that fall outside our standard policy.
